hello!
for all who do not know me, I'm a Christian woman who happens to love metal, hence the name. Black metal of pretty much any kind is by far my favorite, though I also have a huge thing for stoner/sludge, along with a bit of folk and a bit of death when I'm in the mood for it. I am a non-practicing dental hygienist, as I have discovered that I'd rather do something else with my life. I am going back to school to purse a degree in fine arts, as art is one of my passions in life. I also love history, science, and the learning of all things. I love to read, especially classic literature and fantasy (LOTR and WoT, thus far), along with any non-fiction I can get my hands on. Outside of the above, you'll also run into a lot of sci-fi, as I am a huge Star Trek fan (TNG!) and a Star Wars fan too.

A great, though highly disturbing, short story. Read it in high school, and I hope we read it this upcoming semester, as it is in my literature book. I want to discuss it!!! We never really got into the back story of WHY the author wrote it, or the history of psychology and treatments for anxiety and depression a century back, probably because my teacher was too wound around the post about Cold Mountain (I hate that book, by the way). So, I really hope for some discussion!!:3
