Finished the Shadow Rising!
woo hoo!!!
Such a long book. Dear God, 980 pages in paperback! AND I’M DONE. It’s taken me months to get through it with school, sadly. BUT…I’m done! Really enjoyed it, as I always do with WoT. SO thrilled to start the next one, The Fires of Heaven, which I’ll start in about 30 minutes.
For the past few days, I’ve been such a reading machine….hearkening...

Its official
Bad eyebrows have got to be one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen.
Especially the spindly ones which look like a single poorly-drawn line of ink from a scratcher’s needle.
So….wrong…. Can’t…. Look….away…..

I know!!!! Check out Limiteed.com! Their designs are limited like Qwertee’s, but I think limiteed cycles through them if the design gets enough votes! Go look!

what it basically boils down to is this:
maaaybe i’m a feminist killjoy and freedom-of-speech oppressor who “can’t take a joke”
or maybe, just maybe
you’re a racist misogynist with a shitty sense of humor who “can’t take criticism”.

Finally responding because I’m awake! I’ll definitely check out the others of that group! Sad to say, I have had them sitting in my hard drive for at least a year now. I downloaded both a long time ago! I got too distracted by other things….D:

Yes, LLN was exactly what I meant there! There are a ton of French bands who have good production, and that runs true with any nation. But in other news, I did not know that Aosoth were French! I was just listening to III tonight! They’re amazing!
But also, as I continued to think more, I tend to think at least part of certain people’s aversion to certain bands tends to be more of a...

I’m amazed at how I get so pissed over people’s musical opinions. I know its all opinion based blah blah blah…but to say that French black metal is uninspiring and boring is absolutely ignorant and tasteless. French bands across the board are incredible! I’m yet to be truly disappointed in a French band, same with Canadian bands, by the way. Both are homes to incredible...

I did some math
atroubledcureforatroubledmind:
I took a sample size of 250 posts and classified them according to whether I hate/dislike them, feel neutral about them, like them, or if I would reblog them.
Here are the results:
Hate: 74%
Neutral: 15%
Like: 8%
Reblog: 3%
I hate roughly 74% of the things I see. And I only reblog about 3%. I have concluded that tumblr is a huge waste of my time. :(
Same...

I think its so sad that women have been told by everyone from advertisers to so called “fitness experts” to lose every last ounce of anything that can jiggle and “tone up”. I’m sorry, but having a womanly figure means you’ll jiggle!!! That means that you have enough fat to keep your periods, and thus be a fertile, healthy woman. Having fat is not evil! Women...

Never reading a book review ever again.
Once again, the world proves me that most people are complete idiots who’d rather read mindless drivel written at the 5th grade level than anything which might challenge the mind ever so slightly. Sorry Jordan is so descriptive. Might as well forget Tolkein, anything written by a Russian author, and also pretty much anything written before 1900. Because its going to be a challenge. So what,...

Sifting through my old books...
I’m giving a ton away, but there’s quite a few that I’m keeping in case I have a child in the future. Books like the Redwall books (which I’m actually going to read again as an adult….;D ), the Chronicles of Narnia, Roald Dahl books, and all the historical fiction books I read which really opened my eyes to the world. I forgot how many books about things like the...
